PPM's comprehensive plan allows us to efficiently and effectively monitor all areas of the home.  Some items we address include but are not limited to:

Weekly:

  • Check and replace light bulbs
  • Inspect and empty dehumidifiers
  • Inspect and empty central vacuum containers

Monthly:

  • Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
  • Inspect fire extinguishers
  • Inspect doors, hinges and locks
  • Inspect foundation for settlement issues
  • Inspect roofing and drainage systems
  • Inspect exterior siding systems

Quarterly:

  • Inspect tub, shower and sink caulking

    • Operate all interior shutoff valves

    • Change batteries in smoke, carbon monoxide and thermostats
  • April-May
    • Turn on exterior hose bibs and attach hoses
    • Operate all windows and doors
    • Inspect and replace weather stripping
    • Install window and door screens
    • Operate all interior water shutoff valves
    • Thorough inspection of roofing systems
    • Thorough inspection of accessible attic areas
    • Uncover and operate attic ventilation fan
    • Uncover outdoor HVAC equipment
  • June-September
    • Inspect and lubricate garage doors
    • Replace garage door opener and remote batteries
    • Inspect and clean dryer vent
    • Change HVAC filters
    • Replace drinking water filters
    • Change batteries in smoke, carbon monoxide and thermostats

    • Operate all windows and doors
    • Inspect and replace weather stripping
    • Change HVAC filters
    • Intsall storm windows and doors
    • Cover attic ventilation fan
    • Turn off exterior hose bibs and store hoses
    • Clean HVAC return registers
    • Cover outdoor HVAC equipment
